im so sick of people protesting! why cant we just black out and let the suits think for us? we dont need our minds! just let them do there jobs!

as someone who's posted here for over 4 years, and on other open forum sites such as Indymedia.org, I know precisely what spam is. It's not a question of "not reading something you don't like", it's a think of people using up valuable space to say absolutely nothing at all. This thread was started with a premise that actually sounds like something an infiltrator might say. Then again, you could be one as well. That's the beauty/horror of the internet: we can hide our true identities if we so choose.
I don't know, I kind of like the sarcastic point Jimmy is making. After seeing people urge others on the John Kerry board not to go to the protest, and then seeing all the fear mongering and whatnot that was going on on IMC and elsewhere...it would have been a MUCH bigger protest if everyone hadn't been whispering (oh, it's going to be like 68, it will make the Democrats look bad yada yada) Heck, the only reason I went was because I already had the ticket...sure glad I did though. Long live protest!
I didn't even take into consideration that maybe Jimmy was being sarcastic...after re-reading it, I must offer an apology.
