I just got this dress for free!

    and i wanted to know if i should alter it or anything. any one have any advice for what i can do with it to make it my own? (it's made out of some really stretchy material)

    that's such an awesome dress-i don't know what els you could do to it! maybe add a little embroidery around the neck line, but other than that i'd let it be!

    you should add lace or ruffles or something that goes nicely around the neck, possibly around the armholes....or you could take silk gauze or organza and make pretty sleeves...if you did that, you could take the same fabric and gather it (secure the top with ruffle of the same fabric) to put around the bottom (not the hem, but maybe around the knee or a little lower, it could look sorta like a mermaid skirt...)...
