I hate it, there is very little on anymore that I would watch besides the daily show, re-runs of scrubs and Man Vs Wild. Everything has gone to crap, commercial after commercial.. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just loosing faith in the "boob tube"?
There's a few things which get my attention but rarely do I go out of my way to watch tv... It's different over here though (UK), we only have 5 channels (3 with adverts, 2 without) so there's less choice and less inclination to be stuck in front of the tv all day. That said, the two with no adverts and one which has usually show some interesting programmes... I was at my friends place last night and he has cable and I was rather amazed by all the stuff you can watch, chewing gum for the mind at night and all that.. Shitty thing about cable/sky/satellite is the amount of advertising is sickening, on the UK tv channels that show advertising you usually get 3 or 4 mins of adverts per 1/2 hour. With cable it's like 10 mins per half hour and you have to pay for the privelige. Bollocks to that Mr Murdoch, go back under the rock from hence you came. I'm quite happy reading or watching a dvd thanks....
i neverrrrr watch tv anymore. if i do its the simpsons, king of the hill, family guy or southpark sometimes if its not one of those extremely gay episodes. and the discovery/history/science channels. but all in all i'd say i watch about 4 hours of tv a week.
adult swim is the shit and discovery channel, military channel, animal planet (some shows) movie channels are awesome!
Mencia is gay and he steals jokes from Bill Cosby, Nukkah. But anyways TV is just a brainwashing propaganda tool used by huge corporations to dumb down the community, so if I get a chance, yah I dont watch much because its all bs. Law and Order SVU is daaa shzzznit lol
I only like a few comedians- Bill Hicks Bill Cosby George Carlin.. (NO NOT DANE COOK, I hate that guy) Mencia use to be alright, before he got his own show
i only really watch the news/political programs anymore. bill oreilly, hannity and colmes, glenn beck... that stuff... oh yea and the naked archaeologist and science shows like that and drake and josh are funny as hell. but that's it.
Only time worth watching Bill Oreilly is when hes getting pwned in debates, either than that I hate the guy.
i watch an unsafe amount of TV hahah i watch alot of news, and ALOT of high-def programming, just yesterday i watched the shuttle launch in HD, which really i had no intrerest in, but to see the jets etc. light up in HD was fuckin amazing I also watch alot of Discovery and National geographic HD, lots of cool programming on there then cartoons like Futurama, Simpsons, King of the hill
