so today i found out that my mom stole my brothers. sisters, and my money that was supposed to go towards something that we could not afford. well for me that was enough to cover car insurance, monthly payments, gas, and a cell phone bill. well since she took it, i cant afford a car so i now at 18 can not drive myslef to work, drive with my friends, or drive to school. this means my family will be sueing my mom and this will take probably a year. i cant believe she took all of our saved money! like stealing 500,000 from my widowed parkinsins grandma wasnt enough. and i only have 80 dollars in my bank account. i dont know how im going to afford anything and im 18 years old. MONEY SUCKS ASS! it tears people apart. i dont now what to do except lay low for the next year and not buy things i dont need. i think ill go back to pre paid cell phones too. what do guys think? how do you afford everything you have? how do live in a family that has a fucked up money hungry mother?
Well, for what it's worth my uncle stole basically 600k from my grandmother, his mother by selling one of her houses. Yeah my family is fairly well off but still my mom was pretty pissed and I really was pushing for an assasination, in Ukraine these things can go down well. Anywho, since you're in the U.S. I guesse you can't have her killed, it's be to tied in and you'd probably get caught. Did your mother spend all the money already? If not you could always break into her house and forcefully take her wealth right from her. You could always however kill her yourself, buy a plane ticket beforehand and do it a day or so before your flight, if you know you can get some of the money from her directly.
Suing your own mother? That sounds like a nightmare. :\ Sorry, I really don't have any suggestions. I'd be totally lost. EDIT: Wait. If your mom actually "stole" the money from you, why would you sue? Shouldn't you just be calling the cops?
How are the cops going to get 500k back without forcing somebody into some sort of binding legal agreement with a judge and prosecution? It's also a possibility that the money could go up their noses.
since i was younger than 18 when we all got the money, she was the beneficary and we werent allowed to touch it without her being there. needless to say, she never let us. we have to sue because she put it in her own bank account, which does not grant us access to it. we tried asking for it back and she said nope.
I would ... whats that called when you divorce your parents???? thats what I would do... change my name and move far away..... what about your dad where does he fit in the picture maybe he could help? either way thats a riducolous thing to do to your own kid
first off, i know how that is. thats so fucked up when a parent steals YOUR money, my mom stole a grand from me once, it was horrible, never got it back either. but what your thinking of emancipating yourself from your parents. i dont know how much good that would do tho, you wouldnt get your money back any easier. if you do take her to court be sure to have bank slips and stuff showing how much was in there. but thats really horrible, some people are just greedy.
i know how it is too, my mother and father took my money as well as both my brothers money, but it was for the car and mortgage...maybe your mother had to take the money
