yeah, i had a coupla short stories published in small press and a pile of rejection letters taller than you write for love.... it'll never pay yer mortgage
One of my poems was published in a uni. creative arts magazine, but that's about it. if you don't count a few times online.
In high school, I got two stories published in the school yearbook and won got a fifty note, thats my highest achievement so far!
Does having your work appear in the school paper count? If so, yes. I can't really tell how good my work was at the time though, because I was the features editor, which meant I had a lot of clout.
I would LOVE to have my work published, but I'm afraid of the reaction I would get. I need to get past that somehow...
I'm on the verge of having one (maybe two) screenplay(s) produced. A feature film (in contract negotiaion) and possibly a short for film festival consideration(no pay). I've ghost written (for pay) a few articles that have been published, but I can't disclose them.
