His lies have lead to the death of over three thousand American lives and tens of thousands of Iraqis. He has shamed the honor of America and placed it insurmountable debt that the public will not feel the full impact of for years to come.
what we really need is to extrodinarily render him, and more importantly his actual puppet masters, to face a war crimes tribunal, wherever one can be conveined, be it nurnberg or den haag. empeachment is only a way of removing a sitting president from office. one criticly flawed by the attorny general being a presidential appointee. and further hampered by the executive branch's control of the very evidence of his doings. although there's no ambiguity as to those he's done blatantly and publicly, and on that bassis alone there may be more then sufficient evidence of malpheasance. the fly in the ointment of empeachment is that the proccedure would likely take longer then his remaining constitutional time in office anyway, and then, the only thing it would accomplish directly is his removal therefrom. i think, as an expression of public displeasure, to enact and impliment such proceedings might still be appropriate. it's just that there's an understandable scepticism as to what is likely to come out of them. however, with the precident he's established of extrodinary rendition, it seems fully appropriate to apply that precident to himself, his supporters, and chronies. =^^= .../\...
burn him at the stake!!!!!!!! impeachements just not enough clinton nearly was impeached for getting a blowjob.. by comparrison bush should sufffer terribly.. he wants it to be legal to use torture against suspected terrorists, then he should be ready to be tortured himself...its what he desserves.. and then every single thing hes ever done in office should be reversed..and a law passed that no bush should ever hold any possition in the government higher then janitor in fact the entire bush family shoulrd have theyre citizenship revoked ...deport them!!
Honestly I'm almost afraid of the next fascist president that will rule the country for the next three years... at least Bush is just an idiot.
NO! George Bush makes me laugh. He never ceases to amaze me with the crap he talks. I've got a poster of 'Bushisms'. Hilarious! And anyway, what difference would it make? Bush is a puppet. The next president will be, too. And the next. And the next. You get the picture.
Bring forth a revolution instead. A 2 million man armed march would work. It'll drive out the ppl in the corrupted government for good. Then anachy would come in and be grand.
I don't know when, but the truth will come out on the things this admistration has done. Not just impeachable but criminal. The sooner the better.
If a republican wins he will pardon Bush. And it goes on and on with the lawlessness and corruption of government.
Its about what is good for the country, rather then playing stupid party politics. If the people let Bush/Cheney get away with what they have done, then it sets a precedent for presidents in the future, whether democrat or republican, to further abuse the powers given to office of president and ignore the constitution. Most people seem to forget that the president works for the taxpayers, he is a civil servant, not a king or a dictator.
We should impeach both Bush and Cheney at the same time, for the same offense. Not upholding their oaths of office to uphold and defend the constitution! To only impeach Bush is to leave the main driving power (Cheney) behind the abuses in power in a bigger way than he already is. This would set a precedent for all future elected administrators that they are accountable to the people that elect them.
I don't really trust any of these people, but we have the right if any of them oversteps to impeach them also. And unless some day we step up to the plate and use the powers given us by the drafters of the constitution, we allow ourselves to be manipulated. This is a list of the current presidential line of succession, as specified by the Presidential Succession Act of 1947 (3 U.S.C. ยง 19). Vice President of the United States and President of the Senate Dick Cheney Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi President of the Senate pro tempore Robert Byrd Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson Secretary of Defense Robert Gates Attorney General Alberto Gonzales Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez(ineligible; not a natural-born citizen) Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao(ineligible; not a natural-born citizen) Secretary of Health and Human Services Michael Leavitt Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Alphonso Jackson Secretary of Transportation Mary Peters Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings Secretary of Veterans Affairs Jim Nicholson Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff
The people wanted to impeach Clinton for his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Why not impeach Bush for his lies? He didn't win the elections in the first place so he shouldn't even be in office! At least Clinton was a GOOD liar!!!
Clinton was impeached for one thing...lying under oath. He actually was impeached folks. He wasn't convicted by the senate, but he was impeached and it was for lying under oath and impeding a judicial inquiry. Before you spout your conservative drivel get the facts right. After all it was Gingrich and the republican majority that accomplished it.
