keeping animals away??? (HELP)

So i have 4 plants growing outside and there about 3 weeks old but arent very tall probly around 5 inches.

is this normal?

And also what can i do too keep animals from eating the leaves of the plant?

Because everyday im losing more n more leaves.

 

that is normal, and for the animals i have mine in the woods i use fishing line and built a fence with it and haven't had any prob's, also piss around the area, not on your plants but, close around them to leave your scent.

i once had the same problem with stupid racoons and squirells and stray dogs.i pissed around my stash. marked that as my territory. try burying dead rats really deep around the corner. they go ballistic looking for it
