Hi, I'm a newbie here and I think I'm going to enjoy being a part of this great forum for long time. I like cycling, all kinds, including cyclocross, spinning, I'm into fitness, LOVE cats with all my heart, music, play guitar and looking for friends. I'm in a happy 14 year old relationship and sad because last Saturday our beautiful cat Misty died. She was a 13 1/2 year old Persian female cat and she was with us for 13 years. Thanks for accepting me in your awesome forum.
Hello there Livingstrong & Welcome to the forums. I am glad ya found us and hope you stick around awhile. I like to mt bike and walk for endless hours here in the hills and valleys of home. Thank you for saying you feel sorry about my loss. Most people who don't love pets don't understand the pain we go through when one of our dear pets die. I'm happy to be here.
Thank you jimmyjoe for welcoming me and thank you for thinking about my cat. I am still grieving my cat Misty, but yes, I'm thinking about getting another cat. As it is I have Tony and Dolly, and they miss Misty too. This forum has very nice members. I'm glad I joined!
LivingStrong, Yea, biking is great fun, and I like hard fast hikes in our mountains too. Yes, our animals are our family, and we lost a cat last year that had happily lived with us and owned US for over 15 years! lol We actually have three dogs at the moment, one belongs to Canine Companions for Idependence. We are puppy raisers for them, and his name is Leland. He is gonna be someone's hero, and we have to turn him in next Saturday for his advanced training. :-( I will miss him soooooo!
