9 years ago my country experienced the worst thing ever... WAR!!! it was a conflict between kosova albanians requesting independance and serbian army. today although the serbian forces are driven out and finaly a peace is stated there is still a confict between albanians and serbs (as it was for 1000 years). recently i attented a youth peace seminar in europa park Rust - Germany. there were 8 kosova albanians, 8 Kosova serbs, 8 izraeli palestinians and 8 izraeli jews. after one week sleeping, eating, dancing (a bit of lovin) etc. I have 31 new friends. although i allways new that not all the people are same i no one can blame whole serbian nation (or in from the other side) for the war, But i had my doubts about us (albanians and serbs) living together someday in peace. now i see that it can be possible and it happened. its awsome to see 4 different nation with 4 different religions and backround staying together and telling stories and jockes till 5 in a morning. now its been more than a month that i havent seen most of the people that were there and i sure hell of a lot miss them (although we are in touch). one time at the semianar we had to tell our war story (personal experience) and than u DO REALISE that in the war there are no winners, only suffering of innocent people. We have proven that just for a week we could achive that mabye here wont be achived (or in middle east) for decades. So people BELIVE IN PEACE its true. Spread the message peace and love
The civil wars reflect the worse of every nation, and the wars in the Balkans of last five years are not an exception. These wars will never come to an end until politicians and the system change once for all... people can get it on if all these institutions show more respect to everything and everyone... sad but true.
