poloticians making jesus their whore

Does anyone else find it disturbing, and shamefull, when poloticians and people trying to speak polotics use Jesus and Chritianity as a way of guilt tripping people into voting for them, or believing them. This really bothers me, because I can only assume that these assholes are only doing this to trick people, and using the name of the Lord for your own selfish interests is really fucked up! What do you guys think?

 

Yes. What these people don't seem to understand is that you cannot legislate Christian morality on this planet.

The church and state should be separate IMHO, although I think it should be made illegal to teach that being gay is a sin.

 

Neocons get a lot of their power from the religious right. It is a centerpiece of their abilities here.

This greatly benefits the secular zionists who control Israel. They get most of their funding from the US, and that is a direct result of Christians who think Israel should be protected at all costs because it's the "Holy Land". This is reflected in the size of our aid package they've been getting from us for decades now.

Most Christians are clueless about political zionism and it's intentions.

I think Jesus would have some major issues with modern day Israel.

yeah, and i agree with separation of church and state.....school should be based on facts, unless you are taking a religion class of some sort, also even though for instance i don't like abortion i'm still pro-choice because it isn't the decision of the state its the desision of the woman!

 

Haha, i'd just posted a thread EXACTLY about this... I didn't even look at the other threads until after I'd posted it and then I found out that there was already a young and active thread that together with the replies so far kind of summed up what my post was about. So, I decided mine is not needed for the time being.
