If you want to know how to make it special, you'd best ask her. As far as my experience goes though, when girls talk about a 'special' first time, they generally want to feel like it's happening naturally rather than being planned and prepared for as though you were expecting to do it anyway.

There is not set rule that defines when a person is a "virgin" and when it's not. Some people think that when girls have not had anything up the vagina then they're still virgins. Other people think that as long as it's not a penis, you can use finger or toys and still be a virgin.. Some people think that having the hymen intact is a symbol of virginity, but the hymen can be damaged with different types of activities, not only intercourse. That is using women as a tool, and I'm guessing she doesn't want to be 'laid' she wants to have a love sharing and compassion between her and her lover. I'd say that you act yourself for your 1st time. Put some candles around the room and some low, slow music to set the mood. Then I'm pretty sure she will get the idea and eaither accept or decline. That is how you make it special. By making love to someone who truly LOVES you, NOT, as in what 'Mr. Berguh' says, getting laid.
