need help germinating seeds

i been germinating my seeds for two weeks with an 400 watt hps bulb and i haven't seen any progress if anyone can help or give any advice that would be most helpful

Well you really do not need any light to germ seeds. After two weeks the prognosis is grim.

How did you try to germ them?

 

Mate ... No light is needed ... Stick them in moist soil ... put the soil in the hot water cupboard ... when they pop up put them under a fluroscent light for 2 weeks then put them under the 400 Watter ... with it at least 1m above them 4 a week, then at least 50cm above them after that ... u may need some new seeds now coz they may have been damaged by the heat ... also to test if a seed is any good, get a glass of water chuck the seeds in the water and wait bout a minute, if the seeds float, they're no gud, if they sink, they should be fine (NOTE: Cannabis seeds do NOT require light to germinate, just moisture and moderate warmth!)

 

You are right on the money with what you are saying but how i have always done it is with a moist sponge in complete darkness. works liek a charm everytime for me and is nice and simple

 

Others are right, you don't want any light when germing. I always put themin a plastic cup with water pHd to 6.5 until they sink. Then they go into moist paper towels, which go inside of plastic baggies to keep the moisture, and the bags go ontop of my cable box (perfect temp there). After they start showing tail they go inside rapid rooters underneath 40w of floros, then after a week or so they go under the 400 watter....
