You'll see the smoke in one and won't in the other. The wooden one is less likely to shatter when dropped. That's about your lot!
If the hash is good quality I'd smoke it from glass. Most wood is porous to some extent so I'd advise against smoking it in that as when the hash goes oily it will just go into the wood kinda thing... Plus wood tastes like shit to smoke from
I have a wood-one-hitter-pipe and its not so bad, at first it tasted bad but after I broke it in, was fine.
am gettin a wooden pipe to smoke hash in and i just wanted to know if i must get a specific one or will any cheap ordinary wooden pipe do? thanks
any will work, its not like you need a crack pipe or anything. you just put the hash on a screen, light it, and suck. I'd recommend a glass pipe though, they look/feel better
I'de a get a wooden pipe, a peice pipe! Cant assemble a big glass one. I had a metal pipe, was ok, just tasted a bit....metalic on occasion. Peace.
if its good hash that you can break off in chunks ive always thought the best way was with a glass cup. you can watch the smoke fill in the glass if its clear when its sitting on the table. but if you want to use a pipe i would definatly get a glass pipe. all of the wooden pipes that i have used get clogged up so fast. i was contantly cleaning the one out that we were all using. then eventually i got a glass pipe and it takes so much longer to get clogged. another plus with glass is you can scrape the resin out and smoke it again but i dont really care for smoking resin.
sorry for the double post. i just wanted to say that its bad to smoke out of a metal pipe if theres a few people they get really hot fast. if theres like 4 people all hitting a metal pipe it gets hard to hang on to pretty quick lol
