well, the big thing is water. If you picked a good habitat with clean water fishing, foraging and living wouldn't be too hard. How's your survival skills now? What kind of stuff do you usually bring camping with you now?

You should do it! It would be so fun! But you would need a good tent or a tarp, and clothes for each type of weather. So would you be camping around in different places, or sticking to one place? Because if you would stick to one place you could grow your own food. There are tons of possibilities depending on what you are going to do.

Yeah it's good. It never feels the same going back to a house though

I'm considering 'camping' permanently too. I'll either stay in a camper or twenty something foot travel trailer, not sure which at the moment. I figure I'll create a miniature garden for my food and raise chickens and rabbits for my dogs food.

What do you plan on taking for shelter? tent? trailer?

this is kinda a bizarre example, but here is a hell of a set up for camping permanently.
check out the video in this story,

    sweet setup.

that bein thrown out there, camping permanent is not a big deal, ya will need a covered fire pit,for cooking ,warmth ,etc. a shitter dug,a cold or cool box dug for perishables, and a water source within a reasonable walk. make sure your shitter is at least 150 feet from water, your camp should be at least 50..

from there, its no diffrent than livin anywhere else..
