my mp3 player is gone. or lost? maybe stolen?

well, i've had it for a good 6 months. it was the best thing i've ever bought this year. it was cute, and it fit right into my pocket. and it could hold a lot of songs! and i even put a cute little hangy toy on it from a vending machine.

anyway, i was in the garden one day and hosing down the shack, because i didn't like spiders - and there were BIG ones, so i had to hose them away.. and my mp3 player was in my pocket, and somehow water got on it, and then the screen was starting to fade, and eventually, not work at all..

that bruised me, but i was like, well... as long as it still works.. i'm fine with that.

it still sounded beautiful! but i couldnt choose the songs i wanted to listen to anymore, i just had to keep on pressing next... next.... next..

but its okay, cause i like all the songs i had in there.

but yeah - i brought my mp3 player to my friends house, cause they were gonna have a party there, and blah blah.. you know, we were listening to my cool mp3 player on thier new killer stereo system. and then they put somebody elses mp3 player in, and set mine down on top of the stereo system.

i was fine with that. i liked thier songs too.

but this is what killed me inside...

by the end of the night.. it was gone. no where to be seen. no where! lost! stolen! i dont know! just pulled a houdini on me..

this was two nights ago. and i feel like my life is not complete without it~

..oh the good times we've had together..

    lol

    but seriously. this is upsetting..

Maybe its bad karma for killing the spiders (kidding). Personally I’ve always been
content with my transistor radio. I never got into the whole digital music thing,
everything I have is on record or tape.

But I would suggest you get a walk-man (people will be slightly less likely to steal it).
The medium is irrelevant it’s the music that’s important. Just transfer all your music on
to 90min cassette tapes; not 120min (they tend to break)

... fuckin spiders. if it weren't for them.. i'd still have a good-as-new mp3 player...

well. minus the somebody stealing it part.

it wasnt my frriends who stole it.. it was thier friends friends who must've stolen it.

if nothing else you've hopefully learned from this. next mp3 player you own will probably stay far away from water, and hopefully you never leave anything valuable out in front of strangers again, since about 85% of people will steal anything of value they can get away with
