There are five or so youths jamming on the streets of London. Some kid and a man walk by and the kid is the victim of a jacking and the father is stabbed to ribbons./ This may seem shocking but for many people living in council estates, this seems to be happening to regularly. A two year old was stabbed to death last night and another young boy got killed a few days ago. It seems like media is to blame but also parents. But before we play the blame game, we need to get into the mind of a typical gang. They often watch 18 videos. Often featuring gangsters and jackings and all kinds of horrific murders. A sense in that now our Gangs have adopted the American gang culture. Now we have clicks and gang territories. Now we have drive by shootings and people getting smoked on a motorway. We are getting more and more innocent children and citizens beging brutally murdered for reasons that don't stand up to reason. Our youths are totally out of control and drugs are coming in from every country in the world. America are the biggest culprit for the importation of excessive violent movies and for the drugs. But also for the weapons, new state of the art weaopons that could take someones life in a split second. OUr Government need to do more to tackle this growing problem. I feel that already it is too late and now London has become the gangland of Los Angeles. But what do you think>? Should kids who commit murder be tried as adults and should they be given American life sentences.
So you're basically blaming the problems of people on the media? That's such an easy scapegoat to make. I blame people, and it's not much we can do about it. If someone wanted to stab someone so bad, then they'll do it without a thought.
Yes, kids who stab people should definitely be tried as adults. Blaming the media is simplistic, but probably close to the truth. yeah, we have peer pressure, but what creates the peer pressure? media. What do kids do with most of their time? (when they're not stabbing people) Watch TV/Youtube. Violent films per se are not to blame - the blame lies with "hands-off" parenting, parents don't impress on their kids that violence makes for exciting movies but is NOT COOL in real life.
I am religious (a bit) but I have been thinking that perhaps the man downstairs is targetting young people to spread his evil. Don't quote me on this but I am quite sure that the Devil is using some young people's minds and turning them into cold, heartless killers. This is nothing new, remember the Bulger killers. They were apparently both possessed. If you look at the famous photogragh of one of them, notice how it looks very demonic. I don't believe it was a coincidence. Why do you think Satan could be using young people? It must be because kids are seen as innocent. Most of them are but I fear that Satan's work os at work. Explain this (To those who are sceptical) The Bulger boys. They grew up with loving parents. No abuse or anything. Yet at no older than 11 they torture,mutilate and murder a two year old toddler? I advise those who think about stepping in if you see youth violence against a citizen to make your own judgement. But dont take risks if you are not sure. Everyone has a right to challenge youth crime. The other day a 23 year old man was brutally,savagely beaten for confronting youth's for chucking a bit of rubbish into his girlfriends car. What I think needs to happen, is for each youth to be excorcise because this is not normal human behaviour. Over the past years, we have seen all that man can do to each other and to the world. Yet, I see nothing quite like what was describedd take place in history over a piece of rubbish. It is time for tougher sentences and if possible some youths to be tried as adults. Life should mean life imprisonment for murders. You see youths who carry out these horrific murders just don't care about anything. They do not value the sanctity of life. They hate all that God(if there is one) has done that is good for the world. I believe that it is Satan and not the parents who is creating these new types of children. i am aboutin Town alot and the multitued of youth clans have risen. Infact a few poured onto a 124 bus toward Catford. Good job they got off soon. I became intimidated and the atmosphere was one of fear. Something needs to be done.

Instead of facing the problem with honesty, you blame it on something TOTALLY imaginary, and by doing so you're escaping the seriousness of this. Christ, it's more to do with the influence of the media, than it is of 'Satan'. Religion is always an escape from reality, and an easy thing to blame. Easier than blaming the parents, the media, or whatever. The reason people are nuts is because they are people. People are strange, and however mentally stupid they are it's just another one of those Human trait's. There is no status quo or normality in human behaviour, and you can't say there is because people do odd things ALL the time. Why did the Bulger killers kill that child, you ask? Ever thought: 'because they wanted to'?
Your average ten year old/eleven year old is more interested in collecting marvel stickers,ie transformers or animated dudes, than taking an innocent two year old onto the railway lines, torturing him by blinding his eyes with paint and then beating him with the intention of killing him. I think there is a status qou around which defines normal human behaviour. I did say don't take me 100% on that one but you convieniently missed that part. Still, I think that children who commit adult crimes should be tried as adults. Also the age of responsibility should be lowered from 16 to 14.
How can you put a status quo on the human psychology? The only thing that makes it a status quo is the fact that law and morals change the perspective and opinion on such an act.

No problem Crucified Dreams I have seen possible solutions that include taking kids into care if their parents don't sort out their own issues and stuff. I think putting kids into care is extreme and should only be done when the kid is at risk of being abused. These cases are often lengthy and well drawn up in the interests of the child. If we ignore Satan theory for the remainder of this debate. My head turns now to parents. There are parents who just don't care, can't be bovverred where their kids are or what they have dragged in from the street, ie, unruley friends who aint true friends or slang that is offensive to the ear. Media is far too available for kids nowadays and this includes internet sites like utube. Kids are recording their own violence on other's and then posting it online. In my day 1995, this was unheard of. Still there were still cases of youth violence. I believe some Parents education should be created. Sometimes the root of the problem isn't the roaming massiv gang of youth complete with machete, chainsaw or gun. But the parents. It is a known fact that parent can create a good environment or a bad environment purely based on whether they act like responsible adults. A role model is a parent. Kids look up to parents. Satan spawn eh, perhaps the Muslims have a point then ! People get killed all the time, all different ages, always have done always will do. Debate can be healthy with reference to requirements of our society but kneejerk blame attachment for sick crime is rarely a good idea.
The streets of London are fast becoming A clockwork Orange reinactment. Youg kids going out to kick as many yarbles as they can. And murder drunken old men who sing out of tune. Must be ultra violence. My Satan theory is archived for now. But I will talk to religious people who might confirm or decline my strange vision. More police but police that have a more active, caring role and community spirit is what is needed. Plus tougher sentences and sentences to change young people's lives for the better.
