    reggae in general does.

i dont know any other music about such awful things as opression and what have you... that makes you feel so good.
well, morrissey is about sad things too, and he makes me happy. but in a different way.

nothing like listening to him with the window rolled down and the wind flowing through your hair.it really does feel like everything is alright in the world.that's the feeling i get when i listen to him even if i'm just sitting here listening to him.he's got that affect on me.it's only better listening to it with the ones you love.

Yeah Bob is great, but man am I tired of hearing the same Legend CD playing in every traveller's hang-out in the world. I think they are beginning to make me dislike almost all of the songs on it. This sucks.

well, I'm a volunteer teacher in Thailand and this is one of the villages that I helped out in about 8 months ago. It's 6.30 in the morning, the 'rope' is actually a strip of bark from a tree and the other kids are catching these big flying insects(like cockroaches) and tying them to threads then flying them around in circles.

I love it here. No rat-race, no racism, no money. Pretty good life, I suppose.

    Peace,
    Aidan

    thanks.

By the way, India is a much better experience, if you ask me. Most of Thailand is well-developed and over-touristed. It is sometimes to much like a holiday when you travel around here.

I spent 9 months in India and the one word I wouldn't use to describe my time there is ' holiday'.

It did however, change pretty much most of my life views. Don't just think about it, do it!!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in computers but no teaching degree. But I do have about 6 years of experience teaching English. I have taught refugees, orphans, rich businessmen, adults, and kids at school in England, Italy, Marocco, India, Spain and now Thailand. I think that the experience beats the hell out of anything that they can teach you at university.

By the way, love the camper.

I hate quoting giant multinational slave-driving sportswear companies but

    Just Do It!

It's not always easy, but it's not too difficult. I have lived in 6 countries and visited around 30. I'm no genius, just lucky I guess. I never plan anything too far ahead and I'm pretty useless at saving too. If I want to force myself to save so I can travel...
I buy the ticket first about 6 months in advancecos when you've got the ticket it's a reality not just a pipe dream. That way I have to save the money or lose the ticket. I do anything I can to get the money to travel. Stay in while friends are always going out, work weekends so I can't spend money, whatever. You guys are around the same age as me when I started. So what's stopping you?

    Travel safe, Travel free,
    Aidan.
