Hey i was wondering if anyone on here lives or has lived in Montreal and how it is up there, I was thinking about moving there sometime in the future, probably in two or three years i guess a long time away but never too early to plan... especially for someone like me I think it'd be cool to live up there, its good to move around and i'd be able to do things i wouldn't here and i speak french already i probably wouldn't stay over a year or two unless i got a good job or something but like i said its good to move around but i'm still making pros and cons, and theres lots of time to think about it anyway
plenty of people in the forums here are from the montreal area ....even though it is handy to speak french ,montreal is a cosmopolitain city ..i have friends in montreal who were born and raised there who speak no french other than to say "une biere S.V.P".....i have a lot of close relatives in and around the city and every time i go there i'm amazed at the amount of english i hear spoken there....so much for bill 101
