race and/or nationality is some of the reason.. not all.. it's the bigger and better thing. "i have more land, therefore we are better" "i have more guns, therefore we are more powerful" they want everything and they can't share it. f*ck them, man, f*ck them.
What about gay, lesbian, different religions, different languages, political views, different behaviors even? Prejudice always finds a way.
There are tons of prejudices to start wars on. Even then, race is meerly a pretext for most wars. The real reasons are more primal in most cases. More land, self defense, to increase civil liberties. And in most cases, both sides feel their doing the right thing. In this case, their are heros on all sides in a war. Untill we find a way to make sure all people can live with enough food, shelter, and security, only then are ethnic terms as important in preventing a war. The ultimate ideal for a warrior is to help create a world in which war cannot exist. jet Li taught me that.
