sorry i just couldnt help myself...i dont actually belief thats the case as i have spiritual beliefs of my own...but the similarities are pretty similar.

-Feeling like something is watching you

-Talking to yourself and imaginary beings or people. "Praying."

-Feeling like you have a special purpose

-Feeling like inanimate objects have special purposes

-Certain things appearing as signs, or that they are talking to them, or are symbolic to some higher cause.

-Beliving you are going to die for doing something "bad"

-Feeling like you are dirty for doing something, and that you will suffer for eternity if you do not talk to yourself or to this "god"....

    bwahahahaha

I never feel like someone is watching me. The feeling that is being talked about here is that of havinf someone watching you ie over your sholder, or just around the corner, or through a security camera. I see no relation to this feeling to that of my heavenly Father watching OVER me.

If God was imaginary, then I could agree. However God is very much real as is Jesus Christ, so this does not fit either.

Everyone has a special purpose. Some don't realize it, others might even feel like they aren't special. However, All have a reason to be here. So, strike this one off your list.

This has nothing to do with the Christian faith. However, inanimate objects do have a special purpose. Why do you think things are invented? Surely you agree that that inanimate object in front of you known as a Personal Computer has a special purpose?

This is true, some people do see signs. However, if you read and follow The Bible, you will see loads of signs. As far as things talking to people...well, I think that has to do with the amount of acid you trip on...

This does not exist in the Christian Faith. However, I will use this as an example of cause and affect. If you use cocaine for instance, you run a risk of over dosing and may cause you to die. However, lieing is also "bad" but I as a Christian do not believe I would die for doing it.

The only way one can suffer for eternity is by denying Jesus Christ. As far as feeling dirty..I assume you also mean guilty? Well, a lot of people feel guilty daily. Not only Christians but non Christians alike. Again, doesn't fit with Christianity.

I didn't find anything humorous here. As a matter of fact, I feel quite let down that yet another person has failed to do any research and has come in here and posted, well, basicly posted crap.

I believe some cases of schizophrenia are demon pocessions...not all but some...My dad has this cassette fromt he 60s of a couple different couple cases... I was convinced... My dad taped when he had a demons messin with him.... they were not completely in control with him but he could here what they would say to him.... like he would be driving in the car and they would tell him to kill himself.... or he would be in a room and it was like a thousand eyes staring at him..... its hard to grasp but its out there.

most contemporary forms of "christianity" appear to be a form a paranoia. most "christianity" I've been exposed to, and I grew up in the bible belt, are definitely fear-based and fear oriented.

gee, I hope I'm not going to "hell" for typing those words.....

bandit, i made this thread as a joke
but still i found it amusing that a few of your rebutles were much teh same i'd expect from a schizophrenic in denial...this one in particular replace god and jesus with the flying monkey and the orange elephant. (or whatever it is a schizo would have a relationship with.)

-If God was imaginary, then I could agree. However God is very much real as is Jesus Christ, so this does not fit either.

    im just fuckin with ya;)

 i hate that kind of dogma...bottom line is nobody knows for sure what happens after we die because none of us have died. i dont care what god told you or what you read in a book, that fact still remains...

It is very disheartening. These people who are so quick to judge. You can feel it in him....It is very ugly. All we can do is that he one day understand. That he will one day fully understand Jesus.

No he does not actually say it... but he says

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

    -John 14:6
Jesus said he is the only way therefore if you do not believe in him what option do you have left.

Hmm. Where is the burning torturous hell???

Every one bit of my exist tells me that I do not need the Bible to know God.
My baby is so pure of heart, she is resting in GOD's untouchable beauty. Yet she does not even know of Religion, or Sin, or even the word love....All children are scared, and manifestations of the Kingdom of Heaven. Will they go to hell if they do not even understand Jesus? ;)

If he is the only way, then there is no option of hell either, he said he is the only way.
My thing about Jesus is that I love what he said so much, but it is not him that is important, it is what he tried to be and how he tried to show us how to reach the father.
its like a finger, pointing at the moon. if you stare at the finger, you miss all the heavenly glory.
I try to live your life like the man taught.
He did not tell the whores of the cities that they were going to hell he treated them like equal humans.

I think Jesus and Buddha would have been best friends.

However, just by knowing who he is, doesn't mean you are going to Heaven.

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never know you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS'" Mattew 7:21-23 & Luke 12:24-30

You have to be on the right path... Faith, works, your life, etc. They all determine where you go. Like I have said before, God knows your heart.

"There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" - Romans 8:1

Those who go to hell are the ones who reject God and his mercy.

"I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned". (Jesus) Matthew 5:21-30
    '

"But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men". 2 Peter 3:3-7

"And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire". Revelation 20:10-15

"But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abomindable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." Revelation 21:5-6

    But in the end....

In the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus said that all of Heaven will rejoice over one sinner that repents then over the ninety nine who need no repentance. (Luke 15:3-7)

Here are a few verses about Hell:

"Then He will also say to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; (Matt 25:41)

The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire; in that place there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth". (Matt 13:36-42)

"But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part {will be} in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." (Rev 21:8)

And about your child going to hell...here is a response that i found online that best says what I think.

"Thanks for the note about children going to heaven. I think this is more a matter of common sense than a strict biblical principle. When David's baby died in 2 Samuel 12:23 he said that he would go to be with the baby, which implies that the baby went to heaven to be with the Lord. I think it just makes sense that God would not hold children accountable for concepts they can't understand completely ... like heaven and hell ... and eternal life ... and accepting Christ. There is no set age when this happens, but usually by the time the child is 18 or so ... they have decided which way they will go on this matter. People mature differently, so we pretty much have to leave this entire situation to God and know that He is fair and just, and that He will do the right thing by the children. I can't find anything in the New Testament that would shed light on this, so I believe God, knowing that some people are mature at 12 and some are mature at 24, probably didn't want to lock us into a certain time period. I'm not sure this answers your question, but it's the way I look at it. Let me know if you want to talk further."

Also Jesus says, "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3-4

To bad not everyone has faith like a child.

Isnt that what I just said. I thought the point I was trying to make was that you did not need to know who he is but to act like he is. Stop gazing at the finger and exclaiming how wonderful it is, and look at the moon where the finger points and all its heavenly glory.

I have a problem with people who do nothing but quote scripture, this line you have given me is an interpretation of the original bible of a different language. There are many different interpretations, including personal ones. What you are doing does not make you discuss better and make resonable conclusions and debates about a subject, it makes you a bible-thumper.
Is it time for me to whip out my bible to find other verses...i dont think so.

Please explain to me how children have faith, I would love to hear this.
