What part of Thailand are you in red? I'm going to Phuket to a muay camp in February.

Dh and I once had a (male) roommate. Well we've had a few, but nevermind. My roommate stories would haunt most people. (ever been woken up by the DEA? I have.) Anyway, he set out living room floor on fire, so, obviously, we kicked him out. He took all of my eyeliner and lipgloss/lipstick with him. I don't know if he thought this would be great revenge, or he was just curious, and too embaassed to go buy the stuff himself, but yeah. That's gotta be one of the strangest things I've had stolen. On the flip side, we once had someone break into our car and clean it. Talk about bizarre. They cleared out all of the stuff that cars seem to accumulate (water bottles drive-thru napkins etc...), vacuumed the car, dusted the dashboard and cleaned the windows. Very strange. We never did figure out who did it.

rural NE. A place called Ubon Ratchathani. It takes about 20 hours by train from Phuket or you can fly return for about 60$. Anybody and everybody is welcome to come and visit/stay. I often have travellers kipping in my room for A couple of nights. Hope you enjoy yourself in Phuket and if you get a chance, get out into the sticks for a bit.

    Peace,
    Aidan

I'll do that friend. I'll have a bit of free time. I'm trying to find about three months by which to train, but it's important to have some time to rest.

What are you doing there? Some kind of humanitarian thing? If so that's particularly awesome.

Well, I'm a teacher at a small junior high school. I teach from aged 9 to 15. I'm a volunteer so I don't have a lot of money. In fact, I live on about 130$ a month. I have a spare bed in my place and you are more than welcome to stay.

By the way, you must be hard as fuck to train serious for Muay Thai so I will have to stay on your good side... I've seen some fights at the National Stadium in Bangkok. Those guys are small but absolutely lethal.

Need any help or advice you can PM me.

    Travel safe, travel free.
