i saw a few parts of a show a long time ago... i couldnt watch it because it made me sick to see so much hate displayed in one show. i questioned whether it was real or not as well but then i thought "either way, this is just a disgusting show..."
my understanding is that, yes, the guests on the Jerry Springer show are real people. freaks from all over the country are flown in to be publicly ridiculed by an obnoxious, jeering crowd. class.
About half of it is scripted. Sometimes the people are real, but they are almost always told what they need to say to eachother, and backstage, they are told that they need to fight certain people and stuff. Lots of senarios are made up though. GG Allin was on there in the mid 90's when it was still realistic. It was the only one I think where nobody fought eachother or any of that bullshit.
I enjoy watching it from time to time. I'm just sick of all the transsexuals that go on there. That is all it is anymore.
^oh yeah i don't like the transexuals. i don't have anything against transsexuals, but the ones on the jerry springer show are either just the lowest kind of trash, but you can tell its totally fake
That one bald bouncer guy.. there was an episode where they had a midget that looked just like him.. and funny thing was he worked at a Conoco gas station in a city about 35min north of where i am
eh its kinda funny to watch white trash beat the shit out of each other...watch it maybe once a year though..
