New to the Smoking scene. Could someone give me the basic layout of all the sizes. How many grams are in an ounce? How many grams are in an ounce.. How many ounces are in a brick? Sorry for the newbie question.
a brick is a shape. a brick is a block of weed compressed until it sticks into the shape of a big brick. they are usually wrapped in plastic in this form and smuggled across borders. packing them like this makes it easier to fit large quantities of bud into small spaces. its often low quality weed due to mishandling, but there are rare instances of really, really good weed being bricked for smuggling purposes. it may remain high quality, but not as high as it originally was. a brick weighs however much is put into it, that is to say the whole is equal to the sum of the different parts. a kilogram is common, but other weights exist.
yeah, but $400 for a pound means its almost definitely shitty weed. mid-grade pot usually goes for around $125 per ounce, give or take a bit, and there are sixteen ounces in a pound. $400 per OUNCE isn't unheard of for really good stuff, $400 per quarter pound is common for middies, but if you can get a full pound for $400 bucks i wouldn't expect to get high off smoking a normal sized joint. but hey, with that much weed at that much of a bargain i'm sure you could get a shitton of hash oil that will really, truly blow you away, or else even just make some hashish....
