Hey i was wondering if it is safe/effective to do an IM injection with a Roxicet pill? I know how to cook it up and everything but i cant hit a vein if my life depended on it...so my question: Is it safe to just do an IM injection with the roxi thats in the needle instead of putting it in ur vien (IV)??? im just wanna make sure that if i do do an IM injection with a roxi that it wont cause an infections or abbsess or anything weird like that, also will it be effective? so anyone that has knowledge about injecting please let me know everything u know about IM injections and any other kind that isn't as hard to do as IV...thx a lot guys! PS- i never inject my opiates except for a couple times in the past and i had others do it for me cuz i cant hit a vien by myself....so is it safe to IM a pill like Roxi 30's in-particular. Also is it safe/effective to IM a 4mg Dilaudid pill (hydromorphone) ? If i were to do an IM injection where would be a good spot to do it?
It's better to just snort it man, if you can't hit a vein do what I do, chew it up or snort it. Roxi's are fun, good luck and be safe
i got some 4mg hydromorphone pills . and i cant hit a vein , its impossible for me idunno, but the very few friends that know of my drug usage were the ones that would always inject the oc/Dilaudid for me IV. These ffriends had been shooting for awhile longer then me, i usually snort my oc but hydromorphone just doesnt seem to work very good snorted or orally...but i know they kick ass IV'd, but is it safe to do an IM injection with 4mg Dilaudid pills?????
jahred, i honestly dont know myself if it is safe or not, i am not an iv user. but, i have been reading alot lately and from what i have seen it is STRONGLY suggested that IM injection is not safe, and is a sure way to get an abcess, as well as other complications....it sounds like u have plenty of knowledge and experience with opiates, more than me...my advice would be to do the safe thing and enjoy them without injecting, especially since u admittedly dont know what ur doing.

Unless the solution can be filtered through a 0.2 M wheel filter, putting it into a muscle is a really bad idea. The person asked whether one will die if one's first shot of heroin is IV. The answer is, of course not. The person then said that he/she wasn't interested in trying heroin anyway. Why not? There is very little difference between Dilaudid and heroin. If the reason is simply so that you can kid yourself by saying "I didn't do heroin," I'd suggest that's a bad reason. Finally, the OP seems unconcerned ... even unaware ... that those little pellets he/she found a cool way to grind up are loaded with binders and excipients that need to be filtered out prior to injection. The OP has no idea how to do this, and that doesn't concern him/her either. This experiment has "DISASTER" clearly written all over it. If the person is lucky, he/she will totally miss the vein, badly fuck up his/her arm, and absorb an overdose of hydromorphone subcutaneously.
