Sometimes it just surprises me

how this is the "hip" forums, and there can be so many ppl who are rude and unbelievable. They feel like then need to make others feel down because they want to feel better about themselves. Its sad.

 

It is human. Hippies are humans too. With the exact same feelings and emotions as other selfish people.

Yes , but luckily , they are very small in number....the good hearted , kind and gentle people far outnumber them......dont let it get you down...or color your opinion about everyone. Theres some really good people here !!

well, you know. in all honesty, i showed up here as a pure troll. maybe that's why i attract the other trolls. but i learned and i grew. i found a community, after years of defensiveness and anger, where people were more inclined to actually give a shit. i still find any number of people who are more inclined to know they're "winning" an argument than listening. and now the tactics and BS are so obvious to me. i've had more than enough times, when i was just walking rage, that i did the same. i can't hold that against anyone, having been that person. but the one thing that turned me from being that person was the patience i found, and the good people. my habits of expressing myself haven't really changed. but what i feel really has. don't turn to the wrong people. not everyone is here to like you. it's not their job. and it's not your job to be liked and understood and supported by everyone. but you'll find people that can help you find a higher and better level of yourself than you'd previously thought possible.

and then, you'll descend into bullshitting the majority of the time, having fun, letting off steam, and turning to the people who actually connect with you when you need them. it's just how people work.

 

Because most people haven't learned that they would feel much better about themselves if they contributed to helping others feel better about who they are.
