Damn Limewire! Why! Help?

Okay, so I figured out that Limewire is a no-go hot source for internet virus' ...so where else can I download music safely?

keyword: safely.

 

Its the same on all networks. The music industry has enlisted the help of such companies as MediaDefender to seed peer to peer networks with dummy files and the like.

Always scan your downloads before opening them!!!

And you do have a firewall? Yes?

BITTORRENT!!!!!!!!! It is safer than Limewire (I think) if you do it right. I don't think I could do the explanation process justice, so here is a definition. And here is how to start downloading. It is great, I love it (and if you don't have a firewall installed, I suggest Kaspersky) Good Luck!

I mostly download trade friendly concerts from http://bt.etree.org and http://www.archive.org (which also includes videos). It's all safe, free, and legal... think of it as PBS for the digital age.
