The new season is here! Great vibes at work today because of it. Especially since Sunderland won and half the warehouse are on their side. And my side Leeds won too! We've got minus 13 points now :D

Wouldn't have guessed you as a Leeds fan. I play footie on a Tuesday night with a few Leeds fans, good result for you 2-1 away from home.

    Sunderland 1 - Tottenham 0. Stroll on!!!!!

    I see Newcastle won 3 -1 BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

The Leeds revelation suprises all who hear it :)

I've changed teams three times actually. But it's not as bad as it sounds! I was one of those who just liked players as a kid. So I supported Tottenham for a bit because they had Gary Lineker and Paul Gascoigne. Nottingham Forest I liked too, can't remember why anymore like!

But Leeds have been my team longest serving team. Must of been about 10 years old-ish when I started sending support that way.

See my Dad and Sister are Newcastle. Mam and Brother Sunderland. I'm a Libra, all about the balance and that. I think picking Leeds did have something to do with The North, but with not wanting to upset any other parties.

I'm a bit over the moon that Sunderland and Newcastle won! Leeds pose no real threat at the minute ;) So I'm happy to see them do well. Like supporting British teams in Europe. The People really are so much happier when their team is winning! It's nice to see.

My housemates aren't fans either. Match of The Day often throws spanners into plans! Aw :) But I really love it. Great sport to watch, wonderful to play, exciting, dramatic, nerve wracking!

    I'm so happy it's back!

Hi D00ds. I dont know much about football, but I was listening to this guy on the radio the other day. Ron Atkins I think he was called? He kept going on about 'The dead cat drop'.

Any of you guys know what that means?

    Peace.

I have no idea what 'the dead cat drop' is. But if the guy you mean is Ron Atkinson then it wouldn't be the first time he's made a wee blunder on a live broadcast!

    Leeds United 4 V 1 Southend :D

So you're still 15 points behind us!!!!
Sorry but over the years we've taken so much crap about the Mighty Leeds Utd in the pub, at work, in the papers and on Look North and Calendar, it's impossible to not give some back, however temporarily.

Spurs is having a shite one at the moment. Also, Jol may be on his way out.

Spurs'll be alright. Heard on the sports news today that the board there are expecting a top four finish. Best of luck with that one ;) - It did kinda seem like a way of saying,"We want you gone. But pull off the impossible and we'll keep you about".

Shame about the scoreline but the game was entertaining enough. Would of been nice if Dyer could of scored. Drop Robinson, he's gone all Seaman.

Haha, that's funny. I say keep him, like. Best we've got.

Fell asleep for the match myself. Caught some build up and the last two minutes. Rest of Britain all won though if I'm not mistaken.

I ain't really too bothered about the football. Rugby world cup is only round the corner, far more important. Also...Formula 1...HELLO!

Shame for Spurs yesterday though...referee was definately a wanker. Blatent fowl on Berbatov should have been a penalty and same for that fuckin hand ball. Mind you...there's been a bit of controversy regarding the referees this year.

Nah, I don't really support them, I support any of the teams from down our way, Argyle, Torquay even some of the Cornish teams.

My town Washington has a side. I believe they were promoted last season too. Haven't been to watch them for about five years though.
