I was ondering if anyone could tell me the names of some flowers that can withstand most weather conditions and need little care...if there is such a thing.

A lot of the old perrenials fall into that general description. Things like Lavender, Black Eyed Susans, Shasta Daisies, Jupiters Rocket the list could go on and on. There are easy to grow annuals too, one of my favorites are Cosmos. You need to be more specific as to what sort of look you are after, and any favorite colors.

Another question to answer is when you want these flowers to bloom. I have some mexican sunflowers that I planted five years ago that I do nothing with, but they only bloom in the early fall/late summer.
