If I could get one piercing, it would definitely be a nose stud. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get it sooner or later, so I was wondering if those of you that have gotten one think it's worth it. I'm also wondering how painful it is, I've heard from some people that it doesn't hurt at all then from others that it hurt a lot.
lol piercings are always worth it! my nostril hurt the most out of all my piercings except my septum, but the pain is over so quickly (especially of you have a really good piercer) that its soon forgotten.
when i got my spetum periced , it was pain full , but after about a week it was nota s bad , healing time is about 2 months , the best part i like about is that i did it as rite as passage , mine repestensts courage . when u get it make sure that u have drank soda or something w sugar and maybe some kinda food a few hours before . i hope that helped otu some
my nose piercing got on my nerves quite a bit at first with the scar tissue and stuff collecting on the inside so i took it out. about a year later i repierced it with a safety pin and i haven't had many problems since, probably because the stud is smaller.
I think I have the same problem as you. I keep getting like a little pimple sort of thing. Is it recommended to take it out?
I wanna get a nose piercing too, but the thing that stops me right now is that if one day I regret and decide to remove the ring.. or simply have to because of work or something.. will the HOLE be really visible?
I wont be that visible. I take out my nose ring all the time and I can't see it. It might depend on how you do it and the size of the ring or your skin.
yeah i want my nose pierced but my mom wont let me. I think im going to call this kid i know who knows what hes doing and have him do it. i only want a lil stud nothing to big.
My mom didn't like it either and then she saw someone with a small stud and she said that it didn't look that bad and in that little snippet in time i asked if I could get one and here I am with a nose piercing but I'm having some trouble with it. You prbably won't have any problems with it if you get it. But I wouldn't know because my problem might end up being part of the healing process and I'm freaking out about nothing. Can someone please help me? I keep getting a pimple thing near it. If someone can just respond to this or IM me at Commited337 that would be cool cuz I really don't want to take it out. And yes, I realize my SN is wrong. lol...it was a long time ago. Spelling wasn't my best subject. But please help me and thanks!
ive thought about getting my nose peirced, but ive just never picked a day and did it, now i just dont really want to anymore
i had the same problem so i took it out and let it heal and about a year later i got it done again and it hurt more the 2nd time only because of the scar tissue. but now my nose looks normal with no stupid bump! i've been thinking about changing it to a hoop. =]
So should I take it or leave it alone and hope it'll just go away? I think I've read that it's part of the healing process. I'm so confused!
i dont even know what side my nosrtil was pierced, it closed right up when i took it out. its common to have a bump, i get them on all my piercings. tea tree essential oil dabbed on with a qtip twice a day really helps get rid of it.
I have my septum pierced at 16G and its now at 8G. It was my first facial piercing and i took great care of it so that it wouldnt get infected. but pimples next to the nostril... i talked to a person about it because I once had a pimple appear next to my lobe piercing. i was told not to worry about it and that it would go away.
Thanks guys. I feel so much better now because I've had it for awhile and nothing seems to work for it. Thanks so much xLEFTOVERCRACKx and wandering_blues!
I did my own nose piercing... though, I don't recommend self-piercing, I can say with ease that nose piercings are probably one of the most painless, easiest piercings to have done. I also suffer from countless allergies and yet have never had any issues with my nose piercing. It doesn't hurt, but your eyes will probably water, because it's your body's natural reaction, and you may hear a pop which is just the needle going through the cartilage. I love my nose piercing; along with all my piercings, regardless of how easy it may be to take it out someday, it's permanent to me. So, I think it's worth it.
I LOOOOOOVE my nose. It's my favourite piercing and I wouldn't trade it for the world. The initial pain and the next couple days are so worth it. It's adorable and heals easily if you ever decide to take it out.
