I plan on getting some shrooms in the near future and I was wondering will I hallucinate if I eat an 1/8th to myself. Keep in mind I've never done this before. The body high sounds cool as well as people feeling spiritual and shit but the hallucinations are what I'm looking forward to.
possibly, but i usually dont have any visuals with just an eighth. of course, with most psychedelic substances i'm a little bit of what you might call a "hardhead," though this has not proven to be the case lately. if you do get any visual effects, they're most likely to manifest in complete darkness. i often find a bathroom to be a good place for this kind of thing because of the likelihood of not having any windows to let in even a little of the light from streetlights and the like. total darkness is key. its said by many people that powdering the dried mushrooms and soaking them in lemon juice for a few minutes shortens but intensifies the trip by about 5 times. if this is true then you will be more likely to have visual effects this way. other acidic juices of lower acidity are said to work in a similar way, but to a lesser degree. grapefruit juice allegedly comes close to doubling their strength, but nowhere near as intense as lemons. i have not tried this and can't vouch for it, but i'd say the grapefruit juice trick might be worth a shot.
first time eyy.....hmmm ive had viuals from an 1/8 but they were fleeting. my advice is not to worry about the visuals and dont think of the mushroom as a drug that can give you visuals it is an entity that can show you what it knows, the more you respect it the more it divulges
yaaa dude my first time i did 1.75 grams and i didnt "hallucinate" but everything breathed and i found it quite interesting staring at myself in a mirror for about 45 minutes, dude i felt closer to god, they truly are magic and a gift from god, respect the drug, and it will respect u. hallucinations will come with the right mindset, just prepare yourself for an awesome psychedelic experience
I ate 5 grams once and the bathroom mirror scared the shit outta me. It looked like I was turning into a demon. Had me confused for a good 10 minutes.
it really depends on person and shrooms. i had around 2.5 grams (less than an 1/8th) and i had visuals.
