y does acid sumtimes not work??

a while back me and 2 friends took 1 tab of acid and around an hour l8r took the other tab an had a gd trip
abut 5 days we later we took 2 of the same batch at the same timeand nothing happend
can any1 explain???

 

Either the acid decayed due to the conditions it was stored in, or the batch was unevenly laid. Or a combination of the two.

 

Or somebody sold you blotters with nothing on them.

yeah the first time was good not 2 intense lots of laughin the tv seemd 2 breathe/morph. second time absolutly nothing happend same dealer same strips planning 2 get sum 2moro or friday

 

Lots of laughing and the TV "seemed to breathe/morph"..? that sounds like ridiculously weak acid. So weak that a few days of inappropriate storage/minor handling could easily put it below the threshold of human effect.

 

yeh probably but iv had a really good trip on the same stuff even causing 1 of my friends to go completley mental took 3 tabs 2 do tht tho

 

Tolerance maybe?


If you're acid was weak to start with (which it sounds like) then you might have had a tolerance and thats why the 2nd trip didn't do much.

 

Yeah, sounds defginitelky like a tolerance issue.

if you kept the tabs in a cool dark dry place then tolerance and cross tolerance (with other substances) can be a definite killer.

You need usually at least a week in between to trip. some people don't and they do a bit more but most people so.

 

Probably a combination of pretty weak lsd, a bit of tollrance and bad storage, keep it away from light, moist and temperature changes and you can keep it a lot longer.

 

tollerence absolutely acid is not a twice a week drug its best when used occassionaly, like once a month or so, twice at most any more often then that & you'll need to increase the dosage to like double which is stupid ive known people who over used severely & wouldnt trip at all on anything under asheet
are you tripping to laugh at the tv when your bored? if so your trippig for the wrong reasons, save your trips for special ocasions, limmit em to every 2 weeks at most and you;ll have good trips every time

I dunno, I did a tab of acid last Wednesday, then I tripped again on Sunday morning (at 6am), and it was the second strongest trip I've ever had (off one fairly large drop of liquid acid). The gap between trips was like 3 and a half days.

Its weird because I've heard about similar stories but I KNOW cross tolerance is a DEFINITE issue and that its well documented and experienced and affects many.

however i also know a couple of people who have tripped in small quantities a few days afer having tripped preveiously. They don't believe in tolerance at all...
Strange eh?

Having said that if you are doing Acid more than once a week. I imagine you're missing the point.
