When I come home I say "Hi Baby, hi baby..." and then I kiss her on the head. I hug my boy dog and say "how's mommy's boy?" I kiss his nose when he is watching TV. I also hug him and bury my nose in his neck. And I kiss their ears. Alot. Is this weird/bad/sucky/sickening?
Nah. Man, I have these two cats that I treat just like children. I think it's normal to be affectionate towards pets. Their like children, but less work.
nope I do the same thing. I call one of my dogs Lulu and the other one chubby. I hug them and kiss them. What can I say I love them.
my mom always makes a little voice of what she thinks my dog would be saying. today i asked her why she always does that voice and she said she used to do it to me when i was a baby... She says it in japanese though, and it doesnt really sound that weird in japanese compared to if someone did it in english. like when a japanese woman asks a child a question like how old he is, she'll ask "how old am i" in a childish voice.
I have three dogs and they all have thier own little nicknames, their like my kids. My staffy is my 'bubbeh boy' My mastive/shar pei is the little 'rug muncher' or 'marley fertardo' and 'bubbeh boos' Then there's our newest eddition who has been crowned the nicknames 'up chuck' and 'little weed' after a bloke we knew in Kalgoorlie. They are spoilt rotten.
I made a song up aout Gracie to the tune of 'YMCA'. I have not shared it with Andy yet. This is not something you can just spring on someone. I did sing it to my mom. She was not very amused. It goes Go Cattle dog, there's a place you can stay i said go cattle dog. herd them cows all day durrrrr durrmmmm dur dur dur Come and stay at the cattle dog CA, Come stay at the cattle dog ca you've got lots of cheese and kisses golore we'll give you everything a cattle dog wants and more I call Ruby my hound girl (make it sound like homegirl) and beau is my Beau Beau Baggins (Frodo's long lost hobit brother'. Gracie is 'cattle dog girl'. i then get in a ficticious argument with her and say 'don'tdeny it. you're a cattle dog girl'.
i feel sorry for any living organism (even human ones) that is called "baby" by anyone. let them dream their own dreams. each of us. =^^= .../\...
When we first got our dog he was already named Sundance but we started calling him Sunny Dee. And to suit his many moods we also started calling him – Suckey Dee – Tuffy Dee – Pondering Dee – Stinky Dee – Muddy Dee – est. I guess my confession is I don’t hug and kiss him as much as I should but only because he is usually Stinky Dee. Cheers and happy weekend!
