I wish to select a number of pics, such as four of them, and have the software automatically make a single pic out of them in a string vertically or horizontally. Is there a free graphics program that does this? I've tried to do this with JASC Paint Shop Pro but there seems to be no option to do it automatically. Maybe there's something in IrfanView that can do this. I feel like a shmuck. I should know how to do this. .
I would add up the height (or width) of all the images, then go into your normal image editing program, and make a new project with the added up heights (or widths) and just piece them in there. Sounds pretty simple to me, but maybe I am thinking in my own language or something. I don't know of any automated way to do this though. Good Luck.
I don't know of any program that does this automaticly either. What I do is create a new file that is really big, put the pictures I want in it, line them up, and then crop it down to the desired size. It doesn't take very long this way.
Yes. That's what I've been doing. A little cumbersome but ok. I thought there might be something out there that can do this automatically. Maybe not. If I find something that does, I'll post it. .
Photo stitching is probably what I should be searching for. Any stitch program should be able to do what I'm trying to do. .
Irfanview can do it and it's free. It can stitch pics vertically or horizontally. See link below. I had this program all the time but didn't realize it can stitch. http://www.zoicks.com/stitching.htm .
