we call it liquid crack lol pound 2 of those and ur feelin pretty fucked up and then u look at ur wallet and u only paid 2 bucks, cant beat that
211 Steel Reserve is actually one of the better tasting malt liquors. It's nothing I would drink on a regular basis, but I wouldn't turn it up if it was offered to me for free.
i would agree. for malt liquor, its not god-awful. has a kind of banana/vanilla estery quality to it...still, not something i can drink more than one of those big cans of. if i'm dirt poor, broke as fuck, then i'll on RARE occasions buy 1 can of steel reserve and 1 can of foster's special bitter or heineken....3 bucks for a buzz, its not that bad....slam the 211 and then drink the half-decent beer to get rid of the taste of the malt liquor.... i'd choose steel reserve over OE or king cobra or colt 45 any day. but honestly, molson XXX is essentially malt liquor and i DO find it more palatable than steel reserve.
steel reserve is 8.1% molson XXX is 7.3% the difference is really pretty negligable if you prefer the taste of the molson xxx, its less than 1% difference course it also costs 2 bucks for a can the same size as a can of steel reserve that costs 1, so whatever. either way, the only time i drink either one is if i'm broke as fuck
But even if you're broke, there are much better beers you can buy for $6.99 than a six-pack of Molson XXX. Molson XXX isn't exactly cheap. It's just crap.
thats true, but around here they sell the big 24oz cans of it for $2....if i got it, it would just be one or two of these cans....it would have essentially the same effect as drinking a 40 of malt liquor, and would cost negligably more. the times i purchase it are very few and far between, and i never get the sixpacks. i figure its a better choice than 2 bucks for a bigass can of tecate....at least its stronger, even if its about the same level of quality. and i do like the taste a little better than most malt liquor, including steel reserve. just personal preferences, i guess. but i do think its a bit overpriced (though still super affordable if you only want a little beer but still want a buzz) and i hate how its marketed like a quality beer.
no, but anyone can drink it. personally i love the beer. i like strong beer, like sam adams, dark beers are good. i think its a hella lot better than drinking hard liquor. like jack daniels. man one time i drank a whole 1.75leter in a week. but steel reserve is so much more better than hard liquor its the same effect but cheaper. im a normal joe. im not homeless. but i love to drink it everyday. 1 to 4 beers. its better than a coors. anyday. its cheap it wont burn a whole in ur pocket:cheers2:
thats what i think. it saves u money. u can have a beer and buy smokes or a big mackthat is why i buy a steel reserve 40 oz every weelkend its like $2.49? so cheap!!!!!! i mean if u want a olde english its like $2.99 and miller high life 40 oz is like $4.50 wtf?
