Man, what a great genre. Some of the best bands for me would have to be The Reverend Horton Heat, Mad Sin, Zombie Ghost Train, The Sharks... probably tons more that I can't even think of right now. What are some of your favorite psychobilly bands?
I dont really know any psychobilly songs, but my piercer, who is this old deathrock/psychobilly guy, he plays a lot of this music in the studio and I really enjoy a lot of it.
i lurve tiger army, horrorpops, and especially nekromantix. sadly that's about it for me, it's not a very big genre around these parts
awww horrorpops are cool. i've been wanting to listen to some more psychobilly but i'm not sure of many bands. i'm gonna go and check out the ones you've all listed now
Hell yea! Horrorpops are good. Amazing live. Althought there are better psycho bands out there. Nekromantix, Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, Koffin Kats, Rezurex, The Chop Tops, and the Three Bad Jacks..just to name a few. And then you have the classic stuff Mad Sin, The Meteors, The Quakes, and even a few people think the Cramps were early psychobilly.
fuck yeah!!! I like the nekromantix, zombie ghost train, juiceheaD, koffin kats, mad sin.... I wouldn't really call stray cats and misfits phsychobilly, huh..
