Hello! I let the kale seeds mature and dry on the plants – They are now finishing drying in the sunroom. The next time I go to town I will get some of those little baggies that seal up - and some envelopes - bring them home and address them - and them mail them the next time I am in town. As far as the friendly potatoe growing contest goes – I don’t think I will be winning for the biggest potato (mine are a little small this year but plentiful.) Maybe I will enter my potato in the most delicious category. Cheers!
It's all about what you eat and whats tastious at the moment, and since none of us on the internet can taste your taties...well done. And enjoy them for what they are.
Mine too! I put this years crop in a piece of ground that I wanted cleared and the earth broken up. There was no prepping involved for this one. The tatties are great though. Blue Edzells were really on the small side so the majority will be kept for seed for next year. Like Gardener says - it's for eating. That's why we grow our own food. Perhaps it's a good reminder? On the other hand, a bit of competition is fun too!!
