Do you guys remember the oringinal ECW. Where a lot of the wrestlers from WWF's attitude period got they're start.Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman, Sabu, RVD, The Dudleys, Paul Heyman, Mick Foley, Ryno. Now that was Extreme Championship Wrestling. That was the Hardcore Revolution. That was Paul Heymans stroke of genius. All the matches had extreme rules, the crowd gave the wrestlers weapons to use in the match. That was entertaining to watch. It's too bad that the bigger bussinesses like WCW and WWF took all of they're talent away and they had to go out of business. The thing I hate though is the fact that WWE is now trying to promote they're version of ECW. I mean I was flipping through the channels the other day and I watched and episode of the new ECW. The wrestlers didn't go outside the ring, they didn't use any weapons. It just sucked. It wasn't Hardcore at all.
I remember ECW but I could never really get into it because I was such a big fan of the WWF. Conversely I had no trouble getting into GLOW. ahhh......The Farmer's Daughter Hotwater
