Well, there's a lot of Afghan Black in North Wales at the moment. Anyone else throughout the U.K. had it? It bends with the heat of your hands and it's been here for a good few months. The quality's just been getting better with each bar. I'm pretty dam mellow at the moment. This stuff's got a gold spray on it of the Afghanistan logo and both tastes and smells really good. Quite a strong spicy taste that you just want to hold in. Takes about 10 minutes to reach it's peak. It's a creeper but it takes you by surprise and gets you REALLY stoned. Anyone been fortunate enough to have this? It's about 100quid an ounce. What are people smoking hash-wise at the moment?
Im in Liverpool and would love some of this but ive never seen it hear before. infact i havent bought good hash in the UK for about 5 years.
I wish you could get mail order afghan hash. The only hash I get comes from my friends bubbble bags. Yummm blond hash..
Yeah there was a fair bit of that afghan gold seal about a few weeks back, usually comes around once every couple of months. Whoever's bringing it in is obviously moving tons of the stuff as there's been silly amounts of it in Brighton and London and you're saying Wales also... I'm not a massive fan of it, it's ok, does the trick, tastes ok and most of my friends like it but there's something not 100% right about it... I do like the seals on this batch though with the little AFGHANISTAN printed in the circles hehe... Good to know you're funding a worthy cause... Shit, my tax money is paying the fucking soldiers wage who shouldn't be there in the first place so I'm more than happy to smoke some money into the hands of the resistance so they can have their country back... Anyhoo, haven't had that for a week or two but apparently there's more coming. Been smoking some morroccan, the stuff that's really hardpressed and shrinkwrapped into lumps the shape and size of dates (how it's brought in), fairly so-so, tastes good and I prefer the smell of this over the afghan. My friends sent a 1/2 kilo of charas from india a while ago and that's almost run out Been a bit of a weed drought down here at the mo, the usual end of summer/festival season methinks. Can still get my hands on it, just takes a bit more hassle than usual... I have no problems though, all the weed that has been about has been from small time growers so it's all been top bollock, have seen no commercial grade skunk for several weeks now!
Sounds very very similar to what I'm getting, although I'm into it. I usually get sick of black after about 2 weeks of smoking, but I can't get enough of this stuff. I love the sedative effect it sticks on the body; and I found no matter how much you smoke, it will only hit you like a train and get the mind racing when you stop smoking. I found it quite trippy especially just before going to bed (nodding off). Mushroom-reminiscent closed eye visuals linked together in a sequence of motion, colour and life - from the most creatively stimulated part of my mind. ...Erm, I tend to smoke a lot (8th's a time) to get in this state though! Note on the taste - it's one of them, the majority of it smells like really spicy and strong, but parts it can smell a bit like it's been kept for a while! (i.e. pretty dam old). It has never failed to please though. There is a lot of dodgy squidge in surrounding towns. I was unlucky enough to have a drag of a friend's doob and fucking hell mate, it smelt like a mix of singed hair and fishpaste, and tasted like shit. It looked fairly similar to the gold seal but was a bit lighter in colour and didn't squeeze out too well. It definitely didn't have the texture it should of had. Real Affie Black has got my vote for favourite hashISH though.
