Hey I will be going to italy next summer and I have a few questions, -How old do you have to be to purchase alcohol and tobacco? -Is it easy to obtain marijuana? -Is absinthe legal? If so, where can I buy it and is there a certain age you must be? Cheers, yatoldmeso
Hi! I'm Italian so I can help you... You can purchase tobacco at any age (I mean, often parents send their children to buy them cigarettes, and if you're caught smoking you won't have problems even if you're very young). You can drink alcohol if you're over 16. It's pretty easy to abtain marijuana, but only if you know somebody who is into the thing and know the right people. Usually it's easier to find hashish. Absinthe is legal, but I actually don't know if the one they sell is the "real" one or just a soft version!
