today was an unbearably hot indiana summer day, and my house is sans air conditioning, so i decided to hide out in the cool sewing room in the basement. i got bored, and being surrounded by sewing supplies i decided "meh, ill make something." so i went to this site ( http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=100217.msg949724#msg949724 ) and made this out of two teeshirts i had lying around. and i have to say, it's one of the best things i made :)

[EDIT sheesh none of the links worked. you'll have to refer to the reply below to see them. man, im a senior member and still fight with the images.]

stroke my ego, or bash it on the sidewalk, either way let me know what you think! :)

p.s. sorry for for taking up so much space in your thread, but to link photos from the web, if you have a pc and not a mac, try right clicking your mouse and hitting 'copy image location' and using that in the brackets. i'm not sure how to do it on a mac...

I have a shirt (bands shirt) I bought to a) help the band get gas to make the next show and b) for the comment on the back.
I so want to do this with it.

That's awesome. I've hit a block road with crafty things lately. But I think I might make a hoodie now too. Also that's a amazing sewing room.

    ha, thanks guys!
that sewing room is my mom's baby :D unfortunatly, it became messy and unused since my dad died, so one day, or week i should say, i went down there and completely re-did it, cleaned it and organized it, and now its my little sewing nest :) or it was, before i went to college. now i miss it. :(

Awesome idea! I have a Led Zeppelin t-shirt I love (images from their third album cover) but it was HUGE on me. So now I am turning it into a hoodie! I will post pictures when I am done.

I was going to try and do it sans zipper, but it's a tight fit over my head. I'm thinking I'll have to go with the zipper.

Great job on yours, by the way. :)
