Can i ask why you posted this shit? Do you think it makes you like a big tough guy. The only impression i get is some white trash on an ego trip. Don't bother saying anything back to this, i won't be looking.

even i, as a meat eater am disgusted by this but i understand and empathize that it's a traditional sort of thing, we can't bash on this guy for posting his pics here, it's not like he went gallavanting around the vegetarian forums or anything. I'm not defending his actions, but rather his right to post his pictures of what he considered a good time here, that's all.

ahhhhhhh well this lil rainbow ghetto smurf was there n participated in the slaughter of the chooks ,,,, yess it is a bit yukkity however as some have said it is part of life and life on a farm especially,,,, no they werent posted as an ego trip or anything else they were posted simply for the fact that it was part of the gatherings and part of our life, ,,, for those that dont like it dont look plain n frikkin simple,,,, it isnt something any one of us that was here exactly did to get any sort of attention at all really ,,, was food dammit and had to do it and,,, besides,,,,, as it has been said it is part of life and the cycle of life ,,,,,

oh n by the way,,,, cow is next on the list,,,, dunno bout them pics tho :p

altho we are going to keep the lil ol fellers skull and post it right up on top of the totem pole we put out in the property,,,, ,, yuppppppp that will gross some out as well.... but look up the history of that too and maybe it wont be quite so nasty foryas,,,

For real you people out there who are acting all grossed out need to get over it. I understand it if your a vegitarian, but if you still have the balls to eat meat from a fucking grocery store but yet come here and accuse someone of being cruel you need to get a fucking clue. Just because the chicken your eating doesn't have a face now doesn't mean it didn't used to, and I PROMISE you they go through a lot more bullshit getting to your plate than these chickens had to endure. I say if you don't have the stomach to do it yourself even though your still eating it, you shouldn't be bitching at someone else about it. Remember that there are hundreds of people who do this for a living just so that YOU don't have to feel bad about killing and eating something.

Again, this message is only meant for the meat eaters on this thread.

<<If you are a vegitarian city slicker, DONT READ THIS>>

I have never tried the rope like you did in pic 2, that is a good idea. We always just set its head up there and they usually stay still long enough. The machete is a good idea also, we use an axe most of the time, and sometimes you can miss a little bit.

One time the dog got ahold of a hen, tore her skin off her back. I found her alive hiding in the bushed. Got out my 40 cal pistol because it was the easiest, and popped her head. That worked very well also, but you have to aim. She didnt flop around to much like when you use the axe fortunatly.

lol.. we used the rope just to hold them for the 15 seconds or so it took to get it laid out on the log then lop its head off,,, then i would scoop them up and hang them upside down to drain out,,,, we would do eight or so at a time then clean them up and the work area then start the next round,,, was easiest we could come up with for the amount we had to do.....

one was kinda fun tho .... laid on the bench for a few then flopped off flappin the entire way down the hill ,,,,, tried not to let that hapen again tho cuz its a long damned hike down the hill and back up....

We always held them tight by the feed until the stopped flopping. Letting them roll around can really beat them up.

If it's survival, fine. It's just those pics give the impression of the predator having tremendous satisfaction out of taking a life. But why exactly did you post the pics, to shock, to make a statement? Obviously, you knew you would get people offended, and you were prepared to defend. Which does make this a negative post, not because of what you do, but because of the reaction you wished to recieve.

So, if you are trying to make a statement about how the consumer consumes things that are treated poorly, and you want to get people away from that, it's cool. I don not believe you are just posting some innocent pics about your daily life. So if you are just trying to piss off some sensitive people, then the hate you put upon innocent creatures will come back to you.
