yeah I am new to the site but have been using it for answers. I do not have pictures but I was wondering about a strange pipe that my friends dad owns. It it a 8 inch peice of wood with a mouth piece at one end. At the other end there is a very small hole. an inch in from this hole there is a unremovable clear glass bulb a little smallers than a lightbulb that conects to a chamber. My friends dad claims that it is a pipe to smoke weed and comes from asia somwere(I dont remember). I am skeptical that it is for smoking pot because of the size of the hole you would have find some thing to push it all in. Tell me is you know what this is because I can not find it online and it is intrigueing(sp).
sort of. i think he's describing a form of opium pipe, similar to the type described here: http://class.csueastbay.edu/anthropologymuseum/yema/opbowls.html but i've never seen a pipe like that with a glass bulb. if a picture were available it would be a little more helpful. its hard to determine what it is just by a written description
I might be able to get a picture. I dont know. I was not like on of those opium pipes. I thought I was a vaporizer but the loading hole seems realy small to me. yeah it had not been used when I saw it as well.
