Help me!! I need solid opinions on this, please!

Alright, hipforum-ers, here's the dilemma.

I was caught with possession and paraphernailia last November at school. In April I started on ARD and did all my community service and all that jazz, and made my payments; in other words, everything was hunky-dorey.

Now, while I was away this summer, a bunch of my close friends got busted in my hometown. One of them was a small-time dealer (well, big-time enough for the small town I live in), and then the rest were either smoking or had less than a quarter on them.

The reason they were caught is because my friend got tied up in a deal with a junior in high school, and his fucking MOM ratted to the police. This kid ended up giving the police names of everyone associated with the dealer, or anyone he had ever smoked with at the establishment. My unfortunate name appeared on the list.

Now the local police are trying to get me to come for an interview. I've been playing phone-tag with them, but this last voicemail I recieved was throwing around the fact I violated my probation. So now I'm stuck. A lot of my friends were on that list and just straight up refused any contact with the police; on the other hand, none of my friends are on probation yet.

What should I do? Any suggestions? I'm thinking I don't want to talk with them, and I think they might be playing the intimidation game with me on my probo violation, because they have no real evidence I was involved in anything besides this kid.

I'm not trying to fuck my future up here, just scrape along and have the most fun I can while I'm doing it.

 

But they have no proof you did anything. If the other kid just narced you out saying you were associated with the dealer you cant get in trouble. Its his word against yours that you even know the guy. And PS what a weak deal that his mom would narc, and then someone else would be that much of a pussy and narc to..

Know your rights, dont even narc out your friends.

i believe your rights are thatyou dont even have to talk to them if they dont have the evidence to acuse you of a crime
ask them what exactly your being acused of & if your under arrest & if not you simply dont have the time to talk to them

They cant bust you on just someone saying that he smoked weed with you. And your probation probably says that if the police wish to contact you, you must do what they say.

 

Look up legal aid in your phonebook and talk to them about it. Or you might try the ACLU(American Civil Liberties Union).

ya dude, i once went up to talk to a cop 10 minutes after i smoked 2 blunts with some of my buddies, i fucking REEKED and it was so obvious ppl were laughing as we walked past them on the sidewalk, the cop knew we were totally skulled but he couldnt do shit. i let him look through my stuff becuase i knew he had nothing, so he had to let me go. i had no id, so he couldnt call my parents, so ya dude some druggies word will obviously not come to anything

if your on probation, id highly recommend you go talk to them,, an as others stated,just deny everything.. actually if you were away,there shouldnt be anything to deny.
however one sticking point may very well be a drug test ordered by your probation officer..
if i was you id flush my system an then go have a lil chat that would consist of,, "i wasnt there","i dont know what your talking about","ive been out of town for the last(however long)", etc. etc.

 

That's the best idea so far. Refusing to talk would be great if you weren't on probation. basically probation is a "God-given" right to fuck you over in as many ways as they can get away with. Don't give in. Talk to them, but deny anything they try and stick on you.
Don't buy a detox drink because they don't work. LOTS and LOTS of water coupled with aerobic, fat-burning exercise does the job. B-vitamins on the day to make your piss yellow, and stop the exercise the night before the test.
good luck with it, if they try and get you with one - I managed to pass having smoked a massive blunt a week ago (and done acid the night before).

 

Oh,I think they can and do lie.If you talk to them,tell them you did your crime,did your time and you cannot control what other people say about you.If you feel they are asking leading or threatening questions,tell them you want a lawyer AND SAY NO MORE.NOT A WORD.

 

Does it make a difference, you think, if the probation is ARD?

or just say "noone shall bear witness against themself" or something like that. of course that may get you on their shitlist of people to track/harass. i dunno, ive had few run ins with cops luckily.

 

Keep your mouth shut.. say nothing but.. I Want To See My Lawyer.. or Talk to my Lawyer.. if you are a minor they would have your parents bring you in if there was something they had on you.. don't let them intimadate you, or bully you.. hold your tongue!! never, never admitt to anything.. make them prove it.. you are innocent untill they PROVE your guilty, for now anyway.. we still have that right.

As a matter of fact, In 1963 it was my case in juvenile court that set a presidence(sp) for minors to have legal representation in a court of law. I was the first minor in the state of california to have a lawyer. I was 13.
