last night i watched a movie by abbas kiorastami called "ten".movie was formed in ten parts all in an automobile.i was reading that countries that have oppressive regimes like iran have much more rebel films in international film festivals.i usually read about women from iran come to turkey to have concerts.because in their country women cant sing for women voice is sinful for men :stunned: .i remember one of them saying "being banned cant stop anybody.it just makes you more creative and try harder to get what you want." :) anyway,"ten" is telling about women's stories by a woman's little story.leading lady is acting a free woman.she paints, travels, and takes photos.but the things that people(her relatives, her husband that she has divorced, her son) expect from her, are far different.they want her to cook,to commit herself to her family, stay at home,be silent and kind, dress in home the way she has to dress in outside.through the film we see ten parts and different conversations in her automobile with different people;her problem son and various women.very nice movie
