well??? should one breed of dog be wiped from the earth??????? yes, they are dangerous dogs, but dont you think it depends on the breeding and how they are cared by the owners?? most are bred to be violent...... or they are neglected.... but how many people need to die and be disfigured due to pit bulls for people to realize that they are a nuisance??
fuck no...take care of them properly, breed them correctly, and train them and they are a perfectly fine dog to hvae as a pet plenty of other "dangerous" dogs out there
Any dog or animal can be dangerous. Yes Pitbulls have a very bad name but they arent all bad, alot of the time its down to how the owners have treated them which is to make them fight. People kill more people than pitbulls kill
Nope... I've met some really really sweet pits... including one when I was just away on vacation. Lots of them are great with kids and totally nice....
They're already banned in Ontario. I've never had any bad experiences with them, but I would never want one as a pet, because I've heard many, many horror stories that involve them.
def. not sharks are dangerous maybe we should exterminate them oh and chicken fighting lets get rid of all the chickens....
We don't kill blacks cause they have a higher crime rate then whites. So why would we kill a breed of dogs?
Yeah I know pitbulls can be nice and sweet dogs, but I also know the breed was created to fight and kill. Sure any type of dog can bite and kill, but pitbulls have huge muscles in their head and incredible jaw strength. Do I think they should be banned? Not really. I think the government should back out of our lives some more. Really though, dogs were bred for specific purposes. Working dogs such as cattle dogs have a tendency to herd things up as was the case of an old dog of mine. He would herd the kids up when he thought there was danger or that they strayed too far. Would you trust your kids with a breed that was bred to fight and kill? I wouldn't and I bet that couple from San Francisco who's kid was killed by the family pet wouldn't again.
Very true and that law is now in question and hopefully will be taken off the books. We have owned 3 pitpulls in the past 15 years and all three of them have been very well mannered and fantastic dogs. Two have come from the pound and were abused dogs, but yet they have been very calm dogs and we have not had any problems with them at all. It is the owner that should be banned and not the dog and it is amazing how you DON'T hear of the small dogs that bite. NO DO NOT BAN PITBULLS.
we had one for years and years. she was the sweetest, funniest little thing. she was my little sister's dog. they were puppies together. she defended her family, but never hurt anyone. she was smart, obedient, and she loved birds and kittens. she'd run off on occaision, mainly, i think, because she just loved to run. she'd come home soon enough, no complaints. as she got older, she got a bit more crotchety. she'd nip a bit here and there, when the kids got outta control with her. nothing to break skin or anything, but scary for them anyway. but one time a lady knocked my little sis over while she was walking trusty and trusty bit her on the ass. no broken skin, no bruises, but the whore still wanted to sue us. the judge ordered trusty put down. and that was the final straw for me and southern california fucktards. i've seen plenty of other dogs turn mean, suddenly and mysteriously. probably age and having a bad day. the problem with pits is their sheer power and the fact that they've been so heavily inbred that they tend to snap easier and snap harder. i'd never keep one as a pet these days, with my daughters, but i'd never keep a german shepherd, doberman, rott or akita, either. all of which i've had before and were wonderful.
I have met some nice ones, I don't think they should be obliterated. Too bad they attract gutterpunk junkies and gangstas as owners

I agree with everything you say but this. Little dogs that are all hostile suck, but they're not able to kill kids when they're raised as fighters. I didn't think I'd ever use the phrase raise as fighters negativly... But I certainly don't think pit's should be banned. My friend has the sweetest pit, and a daughter, and his pit is super protective of the girl.
