well I first wanted to get natural locks. but I decided :screw it". I pfound a fine comb grabbed some hair. and spent the last hour on that one section. its just a big messy clump on my head, tomorrow i shall have a full head of these clumps. I cant wait. well, im gonna go start on the next lock, ill post soem pics when im done.
I just shaved my head. lol. I was about to do the other half of my head then i said to myself "Im gonna shave my head." its been a long time since my hairs been this short.
aww, yeah man, that's probably something you're gonna regret big time, if not then it probably wasn't your time yet ^_^
i back combed my dreadies, and they havent fallen out.... but what do you mean by they will fall out world peace?
the locks come unraveled........backcombing is pointless anyway........it's the impatient persons solution to wanting "dreadlocks"
i don't know if backcombing is completely "pointless." it sort of gives a jumpstart to dreads. yeah, a lot of them fall out, but a lot of them knot up nicely. it's not completely natural, but it's better than dread perms or gunking the works up with wax, at least in my opinion.
sure, i'll agree it's better than perms or wax...................and I think for *some* people it may give the illusion that they have "dreadlocks" faster...........but I don't think it does anything to speed up the process...........in fact it may hinder it more than help it cuz oft times backcombed hair has to unravel before it'll dread anyway................whatever works...i'm not knocking it, i'm just saying imho it's pointless. It's a quick fix for those who either want dreadlocks for fashion purposes, or just the ol' fashioned impatient.
