If you are interested, I want to start passing around a notebook. I want to mail it out and include anything you want in it-whether it's pieces you've written, or a letter you want to write-I want it to include ONLY positive things.

I don't quite know how I will do this, but I think it would be interesting to bring back the beautiful art of handwriting letters, stories, poems-whatever, and sharing them with others. I figured everyone can have a sheet (one page, front & back) of the book to write what they please then pass it on to someone else. I will include the addresses inside the book for people to send to someone else that they don't know. I feel that this will help others make friends and start beautiful long-distance friendships.

I want some ideas and feedback on this and if you think it is a good idea.

Things you can include in the book:

    *Poems
    *Short Stories
*Letters about yourself to friends you wish to make
*Stories on acts of kindness you've done
    *Anything you want!

Please share your ideas and if you want in, give me your address. I plan ..ing the book today with my story and some rules inside the book as to what not to write and what to write.

After it is done, I want it sent back to me so that I can type it all up and print it and sent it out to everyone involved (or anyone that isn't involved and still wants a copy)

So let me know your ideas and if you're interested!

    *Love & Peace*

Anything will basically do, as long as it isn't too negative. I just think this is a great way to communicate and when I print it, I plan on sending it to everyone to lift spirits when they are down.

A few other things to include:

    *Pictures
    *Articles
    *Lyrics
    *Paintings/drawings

Tear up a bunch of other books and glue them together.

Perhaps we can send papers to you to be put into the book.

I think I would write on raising kids and how one does not have to be a mom to be important to a child.

I think it would be amazing to make a book sort of like a swap box, you know, add your own touch then send it on. Only problem is any member of the crafty section that's participated in swap boxes will tell you they too often get lost forever because they fall into the hands of a not-so-loyal member. But wouldn't that be awesome, for us all to have a chance to contribute to a book? I think if we do that, we should push to have it published as well and see if Skip will sell it in the HipMarket. That would be really cool.

I'm down. I have a lot of stuff that I think would go well with the idea.

    Awesome you guys!

As for the sending stuff to me...I've already had quite a few people tell me to do that and the ones participating in the book feel that it would be a good idea to send the book itself. It's so much more personal and people like to see where it's been. If you're not loyal...DON'T SIGN UP! haha. That's why I'm asking for email addresses, too so that people can email when it's arriving/leaving.

I'm thinking this is going to be different than a swap box because people want others to see their work-ya know. And who knows? Maybe someone involved is a publisher or knows a publisher, or is an art critic and can get some of the peoples work published or in galleries or whatever.

If you are interested, you can send me a message through here or email me at m_moriarty87@yahoo.com

    Thanks everyone!

If you send it to Thailand, the kids at my school could definitely make a contribution.
I hope it all works out.

That's too true. But every once in a while (although rare) it does make a circulation.

On that note, though, all those swap boxes I've started, I've yet to receive any of them. [IMG]
