for the last 6 months i have been having dreams about my male cousin,i am a female 38 yrs old single. hes 42 single,some are sexual,he was hear at our familys home this weekend and i felt so strange around him,and when he spoke to me .the day after my sister said i was acting snotty with him,and i dont think i was,the big secret in the family is that we know, he has has sexual relations with a cousin on my moms side of the family and another on his side of the family.i mean he has a gorgeous body,but his looks arent so hot,but, why am i dreaming like this and then when hes around ,i feel so uncomfortable.please help me understand.
Hi Kenny69 I wouldn't worry at all. It's pretty common to have dreams like this. I am Jungian based and so here are my thoughts. When we dream about sex, one way to look at this is that two parts of ourselves are coming together. It may be that you see some part of yourself in your cousin and that on a deeper level, you are bringing it into your awareness. Here's an example of what I mean. I had a series of dreams that involved me being married to my brother and having sex with him. I was pretty disgusted by this and so I asked myself what did I see in him that I see in myself that makes me feel disgusted. The dreams were showing me that I needed to accept something into myself (sex) in order to have a new awareness. The result of sex is a baby. When we dream of babies it usually means a new idea or creation within the self. These dreams could have to do with anything. A new project you are having trouble with. A friendship or personal growing issue. But your other dreams about him are also important. He is just a symbol in your dreams that is trying to show you something. Does that make sense?
