Outdoor flowering in Canada

    we have early frost in canada n I was jus wondering if anybody new around what time they naturally start flowering, or if it is neccissary to force flower . I got 1 female in the back yard in a hidden spot , its got 9 leafers the size of my hand and white female preflowers. comina long nicely jus wondering around what time, its white russian by the way.

    Well, it mostly depends on where you live... and if you don't live in the "flatlands" part of Canada (haha) it depends, specifically, on your location. There are people in my town that cropped off in June-July, because where they are on the mountains, the light patterns are way more hardcore. We get daylight from about 4AM and then it's shadier and cool by around 5:30-6PM, and then dark around 9:30-10... in the middle of Summer. Most people around here crop off around September/October.

    If you're worried about waking up with frost, don't be. One or two good frosts is actually a good thing for plants that are already well into bud/almost ready to crop. It shocks them into producing just a wee bit more THC.

    Unless you're growing Freezeland (frost resistant) I would try and avoid the frost! Saw a few guys lose a lot last year. I aim for end of Sept early Oct. Might let one frost through, but would head out for an emergency harvest if a second came in.

    Mine are just starting to flower...don't worry...it all happens REAL quick :)
