For all of their musical merits, which were considerable, Blind Faith's short life-span made them virtually a symbol of the tail-end of the 1960's and what those years were about: Too much too soon in that overheated cultural, psychic, and business environment, even for the prodigious talents and personalities involved, resulting in a quick burn-out. While I am a huge fan of all four members previous bands (Traffic, Family, Cream) I find they're first and only album incredibly boring. It seems like they're live shows might've been amazing, but all of the energy is missing on the album. I heard about Blind Faith after I started listening to Traffic and Family (I had already fallen in love with Cream by that time) and I got really exicted when I found out about a lost 1969 album by four of each bands' main talents. So I bought it in September of last year when i was in Halifax to see The Rolling Stones in concert, and when I got back home I put it on, and i was greatly disappointed, to say the least.
